Settembre Lucchese: a month to live!

Many appointments, every day, for the most awaited month in Lucca: from religious festivals to fairs, then shows, events and exhibitions.

On September 13, an unmissable event: the historic Luminara di Santa Croce, with a suggestive procession illuminated by candles.

And on 14 September Santa Croce is celebrated with the veneration of the Holy Face, a wooden crucifix kept in the Cathedral of San Martino which, according to legend, came from the Holy Land and depicts the features of Christ.
